পড়াশোনা—বাংলায় স্নাতক, স্নাতকোত্তর ও এমএএস (এমফিল সমমান)। বর্তমানে পিএইচডি করছেন।
পেশা—নির্বাহী সম্পাদক, দৈনিক শপথ।
গবেষণা—গবেষণায় তিনি নিবেদিত। তার অধিকাংশ গ্রন্থ গবেষণাধর্মী। এছাড়া তার দুটি গবেষণা প্রবন্ধ বাংলা একাডেমি ও বাংলাদেশ শিল্পকলা একাডেমির জার্নালে প্রকাশিত হয়েছে। প্রতিষ্ঠা করেছেন সেন্টার ফর হিস্ট্রি অ্যান্ড কালচারাল রিসার্চ।
পুরস্কার ও সম্মাননা— ‘চাঁদপুর সাহিত্য একাডেমি পুরস্কার-২০১৪’, ‘দেশজ জাতীয় পাণ্ডুলিপি পুরস্কার-২০১৭’, ‘ছায়াবাণী কৃতী লেখক সম্মাননা-২০১৮’, ‘চাঁদপুর কণ্ঠ লেখক সম্মাননা-২০২৪’, হাজীগঞ্জ ফোরাম সাহিত্য সম্মাননা-২০২৪’, মুন্সীগঞ্জ লেখক পরিষদ গুণীজন সম্মাননা-২০২৪’, এবং ‘অনুপ্রাণন পাণ্ডুলিপি পুরস্কার-২০২৪’, ‘কালি ও কলম তরুণ কবি ও লেখক পুরস্কার-২০২৪’।
সঙ্গীত ও চিত্রকলার প্রতি প্রবল আগ্রহ। ঘুরে বেড়াতে ভালোবাসেন। স্বপ্ন দেখেন, পৃথিবীর উল্লেখযোগ্য ঐতিহাসিক স্থানগুলোতে তিনি পরিভ্রমণ করবেন।

Muhammad Farid Hasan. Author and Ph.D. Researcher. Published books: 30. Received the prestigious Kali O Kalam Young Poet and Writer Award 2024 from Bangladesh in the research category. Among his notable works are the poetry collection 'Liar Required', the short story collection 'Another City Story', 'Literary Companions and Other Essays' (Essays), 'Rabindranath and the People of Chandpur' and the edited book 'Muhammad Nasiruddin of the Countercurrent'. He has also edited the literary magazines 'Baak' and 'Mrittika'.
He also writes for newspapers in India, and two of his research-based books will soon be published there.
Education
He holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Bangla, and has completed an MAS (equivalent to MPhil). He is currently pursuing a PhD.
Research
Hasan is deeply committed to research, with most of his works being research-based. Additionally, two of his research papers have been published in the journals of the Bangla Academy and the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy. He is the founder of the Center for History and Cultural Research.

He has received several accolades, including the Kali O Kalam Young Poet and Writer Award (2025), Chandpur Literature Academy Award (2014), Deshaj National Manuscript Award (2017), Chhaya bani Writer Award (2018), Daily Chandpur Kantha Writer Award (2024), HajiGanj Forum Literature Award (2024), MunshiGanj Writer Club Award (2024) and the Anupranan National Manuscript Award (2024).
Interests
Hasan has a strong passion for music and painting, loves to travel, and dreams of visiting significant historical sites around the world.
